Bilancio Famigliare Privacy Policy

Introduction

Bilancio Famigliare is an application for managing personal and family finances that lets the user record and organise income, expenses, accounts, transactions and budgets directly on their own device.

User privacy is a core element in the development of the application.

Bilancio Famigliare is designed so that the user keeps control of their own data:

• it does not require the creation of an account;
• it does not automatically send personal or financial data to external servers;
• it contains no advertising;
• it does not use tracking or profiling systems.

Data handled by the application

Bilancio Famigliare lets the user enter information about their financial management, including:

• income;
• expenses;
• spending categories;
• personal accounts;
• financial transactions;
• budgets;
• notes attached to entries.

This data is used exclusively to provide the features of the application.

Data storage

The data entered by the user is stored locally on the device.

Bilancio Famigliare does not require a personal account, and the Data Controller:

• does not receive the user’s financial data;
• does not view the content entered in the app;
• does not access the data held in the application’s local database.

Data management remains under the control of the user.

Exporting and importing data

Bilancio Famigliare lets the user export and import their own data as CSV files.

The export feature makes it possible to create a copy of your data and use it for:

• personal backups;
• transfer between devices;
• archiving;
• sharing.

Exported files can be saved or shared by the user through the features available on the device, including:

• iCloud Drive;
• email;
• messaging apps;
• other services chosen by the user.

These operations are carried out solely at the user’s own initiative.

Bilancio Famigliare does not automatically upload data to external services, and the Data Controller does not access the exported files.

Apple services

When the user relies on Apple services or other apps on the device to save, transfer or share files exported from the application, the processing of that data takes place under the terms and privacy policies of the respective providers.

Bilancio Famigliare does not control those services and has no access to the data the user transfers.

Face ID protection

Bilancio Famigliare can protect access to the app with Face ID.

Biometric authentication is handled directly by the Apple operating system.

The application does not collect, store or access the user’s biometric data.

Technical data and tracking

Bilancio Famigliare does not use:

• user analysis systems;
• analytics tools;
• crash reporting services;
• profiling tools;
• advertising tracking systems.

The application does not automatically collect information about user behaviour or app usage.

Any technical data collected directly by Apple through its own services is handled under Apple’s privacy policy.

Advertising and marketing

Bilancio Famigliare:

• contains no advertising;
• does not use advertising networks;
• does not use user data for marketing purposes;
• does not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Review request

Bilancio Famigliare may use the official Apple system to invite the user to leave a rating on the App Store.

Ratings and reviews are handled through Apple services.

The application does not collect reviews or feedback through external services.

Data security

The Data Controller adopts appropriate technical measures to protect the application and to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or alteration of data.

The user is responsible for protecting their own device using the tools provided by the operating system, such as the device passcode and biometric authentication.

User rights

The user may exercise the rights provided by applicable law, including:

• access to their own data;
• requesting modification or rectification;
• requesting erasure;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to processing where applicable;
• data portability.

Because the financial data is stored locally on the user’s device, many of these operations can be carried out directly by the user through the app’s own features, including modifying, deleting and exporting the data.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Data Controller may update this Privacy Policy if the application, the services used or applicable law change.
